Last Chance to Bloom BIG — GiveBIG Ends Tonight!

Community Centric Fundraising News Philanthropy Updates

There’s Still Time to Make a BIG Impact for Washington’s Children

Hey, friends!

GiveBIG—Washington’s largest two days of giving—ends tonight at midnight!

There’s still time to come together and invest in a better future for children and families across King and Pierce Counties. Whether you’ve donated, shared our campaign, or simply cheered us on, thank you!

If you haven’t had a chance to give yet, it’s not too late. Every single gift helps support access to early learning, mental health services, and high-quality care for children and families in our community.

This year’s Bloom Together Campaign is about showing up for kids, for caregivers and child care providers, and for a future where every child can thrive in nurturing, antiracist early learning communities.

Here’s where we urgently need your support:

Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) Care

This trusted, culturally responsive form of care, relied on by families who can’t access traditional child care, will lose all state funding in July 2025.

Holding Hope: Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health

This program’s funding has been slashed in half, reducing our mental health consultants from nine to just two. That means fewer children, families, and providers will get the support they need to navigate emotional, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges.

Here’s how you can help before midnight:

  • Donateto our Bloom Together Fundraiser
  • Follow BrightSpark on social media and share our posts
  • Use the hashtags: #GiveBIGTogether #GiveBIG #BloomTogether
  • Spread the word—invite others to give and grow the impact

With your help, we can make #GiveBIG and #BloomTogether a success and raise critical funds to sustain our work in this pivotal moment.

Thank you for being a champion of this work. We couldn’t do it without you.

Let’s Bloom Together in a BIG way, for kids, for families, and for a future we all deserve.

With deep appreciation,
The BrightSpark Team
