ABOUT US
Our mission is to nurture and sustain child-centered, antiracist early learning communities.
We are advancing families' access to high-quality care
Founded in 1990, we are a community-based organization that serves families, caregivers, and child care providers across King and Pierce Counties. We are dedicated to improving families’ access to child care and elevating the quality of early learning.
Our Values:
-
We Are Stronger Together
-
We Honor Community Strengths
-
We Seek Continuous Learning and Improvement
We are committed to advancing equity for all children.
As a community leader and partner in the early learning sector, BrightSpark seeks to proactively identify, disrupt, and dismantle early learning systems that harm children and communities of color. We implement and advocate for policies and practices that ensure Black and Brown children are equitably visible and valued.
