Kaleidoscope Play 
and Learn®

Discover a play group that fosters community and culture while promoting healthy social development and school readiness for children under five.

Designed specifically for family, friend, and neighbor caregivers, KP&L groups are available for caregivers and children under 5 to learn about child development and school readiness. Groups meet weekly, are based in community, and are available to all caregivers at no cost to them.

Early Head Start Program

Early Head Start (EHS) is a federally-funded BrightSpark program that partners with family child care providers in Pierce and King counties to serve expecting parents and young children with child development and family support services in low-ratio, family-style care settings that are highly affordable, culturally responsive, flexible to family’s needs, and based in community.

Seattle Preschool Program

The Seattle Preschool Program an affordable, flexible early learning program designed to help prepare 3 and 4 year-olds for kindergarten! By bringing a preschool classroom into a family child care setting, Seattle-based parents and caregivers can ensure that their children recieve high-quality care while accessing resources and support for the entire family.

The Allen Family Center

Located in Mount Baker, supporting families in times of crisis and uncertainty

Designed as a one-stop shop for families facing homelessness, immigrant/refugee families, and families in need of child care and mental health services.

Brothers & Sisters

Brothers & Sisters

Brothers & Sisters (B&S) is specifically designed for the middle- and high-school aged youth who take care of their younger siblings, cousins, nieces/nephews, and other young children while the children’s caregivers go to school or to work.

Early Learning Conversations (ELC) provides FFN caregivers information on child development, health and safety, nutrition, early literacy and numeracy, self-care, and living in a multicultural community with the ultimate goal of preparing children for school.
