Help Families Access the Care They’re Working For

Supporting Families to Thrive this Spring

As we enter the halfway point of our Spring Bloom Together Campaign, one thing is clear: families are actively working to create brighter futures, but many are still waiting for the support they need.

Families are seeking:

  • An open child care slot
  • Financial assistance for essentials like diapers, food, and gas
  • A provider they can trust

Across King and Pierce Counties, parents are ready to learn, work, and build stability, but the gap between demand and access can slow their progress.

Zoe and her son Mari are one family whose determination has inspired us this spring. Zoe reached out, navigated the system, and found the resources to support her son while pursuing her education. “When you’re trying to do it all by yourself, there are so many hurdles,” she said. With access to care, those hurdles became opportunities instead; opportunities to focus on growth, learning, and thriving.

Too many families are still facing those hurdles alone. Your support helps ensure that when families take action, the pathway to care is clear, reliable, and full of possibilities.

Philanthropic support allows BrightSpark to respond in real time, helping families connect to care, access critical supports, and build stability that public programs alone cannot always provide.

This spring, your partnership amplifies the determination and advocacy of families like Zoe’s, ensuring every child has a safe, nurturing place to grow.

With gratitude,
