2023 in Review: A Year of Evolution, Collaboration, and Celebration

2023 in Review: A Year of Evolution, Collaboration, and Celebration

Can you believe that we are less than a month away from 2024? We sure can’t!

It’s been such a busy year here at BrightSpark Early Learning Services. We’ve not only changed our name and unveiled a new logo, website, and mission statement, but we’ve also piloted a new provider coaching program; elevated our mental health care program; further expanded our services into Pierce county – and that’s just scratching the surface! Check out our 2022-23 Annual Report below to read more about our work last year.

We couldn’t have done any of this without the generosity of our amazing community of supporters. While we are so proud of the work we did last year, we can’t wait to #DoEvenMoreIn2024 – but we need your help! Every dollar donated goes directly to serving our community, improving our processes and programs, and advancing equitable early learning policies and practices.

Check out this year’s Community Impact Report

Every year, BrightSpark releases a Community Impact Report so that all of our partners and supporters can see the work we’ve put in during the latest fiscal year, and the impact that work has had on our community.

Inside our 2022-23 report, you can expect to find highlights from each of our 10+ distinct programs; reflections from team members and community members; information about our funding and how it is allocated and distributed across programs; statistics and data surrounding the impact we’ve had; and so much more!

From Phoebe Sade (Executive Officer) & Rebecca Benavides (Chair of Board of Directors):

“As we continue writing this next chapter of our story, we are committed to living into the values that have guided us to where we are now: finding strength within one another; seeking continuous growth and improvement; and always honoring community strengths. For both those of you who have been with us for a while and those of you who have just joined us recently on our journey, we are truly honored to have your support and invite you to continue working alongside us in this next joyful, loving era as BrightSpark Early Learning Services.”
