We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Lead Teachers or floaters. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with children through play, music, stories, and art, and is familiar with Creative Curriculum, ASQs, and Early Achievers. Our goal is to create a fun, nurturing environment where children can build skills, develop positive behaviors, and build strong bonds. We are a non-profit organization (not affiliated with a church or franchise) offering a supportive workplace, paid holiday closures, accrued vacation time, and professional development assistance. Duties Provide care and supervision for a group in a classroom setting Be willing to be flexible around the needs of the center Work collaboratively with other teachers to develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum using Creative Curriculum Communicate regularly and effectively with management, parents, and co-workers Willing to learn or use a communication app Willing to work as a team and co-teacher effectively and encouragingly. Bring a positive outlook to the environment
- Qualifications – Required skills and experience:
30-hour STARS Child Care Basics Training Current certification in Basic First Aid and Infant/Child CPR MAT (Medication Administration Training) HIV/Bloodborne Pathogens Training Food Handler’s Permit TB test clearance Successful completion of a full background check. Requirements At least a year (1) of experience as a child care teacher/caregiver OR Working on DCYF stackables OR AA/BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field OR Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (can be used towards stackables)
