Community as Prevention (Morning) (HUEC 2026)

Description

This training explores how authentic, relationship-based partnership with families serves as a foundational strategy for preventing and eliminating expulsion in early learning settings. Participants will examine how belonging, trust, and shared responsibility with families reduce behavioral escalation and support children’s regulation, persistence, and inclusion. The session emphasizes shifting from compliance-driven engagement to community-centered practice that honors every child and family.
