Neurodiversity: The Basics (PDI 2026)

Description

Neurodiversity – that is, natural variation in how people’s brains work – although more and more talked about in the early learning world, is not necessarily well understood. In this workshop, we will explore what neurodiversity is and whether there is even such a thing as “neurotypicality’. We will look at types and characteristics of neurodiversity and how all this relates to building on every child’s strengths.
