Join in Collective Advocacy
Advocacy Pods are open to all members of the early learning spectrum, including: providers, parents and guardians, Family, Friend & Neighbor caregivers, BrightSpark staff and board members, nonprofits and agencies, and community partners. During our monthly pod meetings we connect around the current state of King / Pierce county and state advocacy; share advocacy tools and resources; and hold connection meetings with elected officials at all levels.

BrightSpark is growing and supports advocacy at the local and county level where changes often happen closest to home. Through our monthly Advocacy Pod meetings and regular communications, our team is sharing information and resources on how to understand city and county government, local/county budgeting processes, and opportunities to connect with your local or county officials around early learning priorities.
