About the Best Starts Subsidy

The Best Starts for Kids Child Care Subsidy helps eligible King County families pay for child care.

Click the link below to complete a short 5-minute eligibility check. This helps us see if your family may qualify for child care support and add you to our waitlist pool.

 

What to expect:

 

  • Complete the Eligibility Screener and if you appear eligible, you will be added to our waitlist pool. 

 

  • Completing the form does not guarantee enrollment, but it is required to be considered.

 

  • Families will wait before receiving an invitation to complete the full apply. We will contact you if you are invited to move forward in the application process. 

 

  • At this time, we are not able to estimate how long the wait may be.
