Final Days to Bloom Together!

Community Centric Fundraising News Philanthropy Updates

Time’s Almost Up. Let’s Finish Strong for Kids!

Dear friends,

We’re in the final stretch of our Bloom Together Campaign—and we need you with us.

Together, we’ve raised our voices for children, families, and caregivers—and now, with just a few days left, we’re asking for one final push to meet this moment.

If you’ve already given, thank you! If you’ve shared our message, thank you! And if you’ve been meaning to donate but haven’t yet, now is the time.

Here’s how the 2026-2027 WA State Budget will impact us & what you can do to support:

Family, Friend, and Neighbor Programs & Play Groups
This trusted care option, relied on by families who can’t access traditional child care, is losing all state funding starting July 2025. The dismantling begins this summer, and families will begin to feel the loss immediately unless we step up now to sustain and protect it.

Holding Hope: Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation
Our capacity to support young children through emotional and behavioral challenges has been cut in half. That means fewer mental health consultants are available, leading to less engagement from providers and families. Therefore, fewer kids will get the support they need—unless we stand up now.

Your support helps us protect and expand access to high-quality early learning programs for families across King and Pierce Counties.

Final Actions You Can Take:

Help us reach our goal and sustain this vital work, now through May 31st.

  • Make a one-time gift to protect early learning
  • Become a monthly donor to fuel this movement long-term

Every gift—big or small, one-time or monthly—helps protect what matters most: nurturing and sustaining antiracist early learning communities where every child can thrive.

Let’s show up for kids, for caregivers, and for our shared future. Let’s Bloom Together!

With gratitude,
