How Can I Help You? Reconsidering Behavior Management in-person at our BrightSpark Lake City office
March 26 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Participants will be asked to read an article BEFORE this training as we will discuss the article during our time together. A link to the article will be emailed to you if you register for this session. When we show irritation with children’s behavior, we send children mixed messages about how we really feel about them. Therefore, it is critical for teachers to remain calm, even when dealing with very difficult situations. By recognizing that we are in control of how we feel, no child can make us feel any way other than the way we want! It may take some practice, but if we reconsider behavior management, we can stay calm and composed and support children’s autonomy and self-determination skills.
