Description

Through this 2-hour session participants will learn about the impacts refugee and immigrant children and families experience and will learn strategies for supporting communities experiencing displacement and ambiguous loss.


Learning Objectives

After reviewing trauma and ambiguous loss concepts, participants will gain a better understanding of ways to engage people with these experiences. Participants will reflect on how they are already engaging with children, youth and families and will create a plan to include newly learned strategies.
